I don't know how much I'll be here tonight (espec after my mammoth day on both boards yesterday), so I wanted to put my thoughts down here for right now and future refugees to read.

This place is called Refuge Island for a reason. & it's because our aim should be to offer the players most on the outs refuge and a safe haven from getting picked off by the dominant alliances. Each & every round we should be looking most to add the most willing & solid new member to our new tribe that we can.

As of right now there is a five on Chaang and a five or six on Seuua. I say we let them keep their majorities. Whether this twist ends at 6/6/6 or 8/4/4 or even goes all the way to a 12-man merge, our best bet is to build a group here that doesn't have another alliance they are rushing to get back to. The more we have been shunned the more reason we have to stick together later in the game. If it is because you weren't picked, or you found out you were next to leave, or that nearly all your allies were against you, this place should be somewhere where you can ~know~ that isn't going to happen.

Not only will this create a feel-good atmosphere and alliance based on trust, but come the end of the twist, we have a massive advantage. Each of their tribes will contain a pretty solid alliance who has worked together all game, while in their eyes we are just a rag-tag bunch thrown together. They pretty much have to target the other tribe before any of us! They would be fools not to.

I support this. REFUGE must live up to its name. This should be a safe haven for those who needs reprieve from shaky alliances. And in the end, I don't see any reason why we can bring this all the way to the end. :D

Oh my GOD. This is literally some of the most ground-breaking strategy that I've ever heard. Thank you, Brenda, for being so thoughtful and strategic. Seriously, I don't know where I'd be without you.

But there are so many permutations from this twist and your decision, you don't know how tough it is not to nick someone out of the majority alliance just to even the numbers, stir up trouble and shatter their whole tribe, or try be selfish and just rescue someone for your own good instead of for our tribe's good.

I am being legit with all the above. We all stick by this, and we all get to the later stages of the game at the expense of the dominant alliances :P And who doesn't want to see the big guys take a fall every so often, it's pure entertainment!

So basically, I'm being forced into tribal loyalty with three people that I don't know at all? This mission statement does not sit well with me. You all don't know me, I don't know you guys. How can you force me to be loyal when I don't even know if I'll LIKE you guys? Seriously, I can be kind of repulsive myself so idk if this whole mission statement thing is a good idea.

You will learn to love us. What's not to like?
