Just a thought of general game theory (and I know this is what Helen was hoping for in here some).

Cat just mentioned to me in passing how she is "finding it hard to not telegraph that I want Monica to die in a thousand fires". I think that's a vastly different gamestyle to mine. I am more of the school of thought that you tell everyone everything all the time.

Combine this with the "make it known who you hate - even to that person" strategy (see Corinne), that I mentioned before, and more people believe what you say and that you are on their side. You try make most of what you say truthful so it gets cross-checked in their other conversations, and the rest of your stories get validated thus becoming more trusted by whoever.

Example 1: I tell all of Yul/Daniel/Penny that I will not be picking Yul, despite being asked to. Having followed through on not picking Yul I gain a little confidence in their eyes. The fact that I was never asked to pick Yul gets a) forgotten about, and b) seems real because Paloma told them the same thing.

Example 2: Catalie has found "it hard to not telegraph that I want Monica to die in a thousand fires" to Mike. I have not straight up said as much to Mike in as many words, but I've telegraphed it. When he finds out - and he will - I seem more trustworthy for not hiding it, Catalie seems less :/

So now later on in the game, when I start to pepper more and more of my truths with half-truths, people are more likely to be suckered in.

I'm not trying to get one over on Catalie, just noting that this sorta thing is why she'll end up as a target before I will.

Mike will pick Nay if he gets the chance. Who knows on Seeua. Sekou is horribly vague but I guess Yul, maybe Erinn or Alina? idek.

This new tribe is gonna be a clusterfuck no matter who comes over. Sekou is already trying to set up opposing him/Cat/me/Erinn, and he/Nay/Mike/Nay alliances. Oh silly Sekou, we're onto you :P

Mike is at least obviously not interested in working with us, although I did just realise it was I who had last dropped the PM chain and not him.

Also can it be idol time already? It wouldn't feel right leaving the game without having the chance to at least mis-play one.

My apologies Sekou, i never doubted you for a second. :P Him jumping to pick from Chaang, and then following through with Erinn makes me all tingly.

This has worked out really well for me

On the one hand you have myself & Catalie, Paloma & Cristina.
On the other you have myself & Catalie, Sekou & Erinn.

Leaving Mike & Ian as two handy boots. (although I guess we need to come up with some sort of pacifier for them, will work on that later)

As of right now, Paloma (and cat obvi) is the only one aware of the other foursome. The others will prolly get filled in once we have one boot made, and then there is nowt they can do about it. Each will believe they are the number one foursome in the tribe, and that the other is the sham while we boot our seventh member. Then if we need to boot our sixth it will get tricky.

Straight away my preference is to make sure Paloma stays alive, but at the same time, I'm not overly attached to Cristina?
I know Catalie has her suspicions of Sekou, but is very fond of Erinn?

Could a cross alliance be made of Cat/Pal/I/Erinn? Not until we're at seven anyway.
