Katie, were you genuinely hurt by Catalie's betrayal. Walk me through that.

It wasn't fair, at all. I realize my reputation as a host and gamer can be intimidating in these things. That was no reason for myself, Erinn, Brenda and Taj to be targeted so early. Mike's comment just validates that. But I told people reliable allies > all. And no one cared about that. So yes, it did make it harder in a lot of ways, especially at merge. But at the same time everyone here did have a difficult journey of their own too, despite IDs and whatnot.

Let me make one thing clear regarding that, because Sekou and Paloma seem to have exaggerated that: I was intending to go against Brenda and Erinn, but never against you. I was sincere towards you, and I had expressed my concerns regarding Brenda towards you. But I couldn't tell Paloma and Sekou that because that would make me less sincere towards them regarding my alliance with them. In the end, I knew it was likely that those who arrived at the refuge first would stick together, and the rest would be fodder. Which is why Sekou shouldn't have brought Erinn.

This is actually very true. If I hadn't been with Erinn and Brenda since game start, it would have been a little easier for me to break from them. But both put their own safety at risk for me too at one point. Like how could I betray that either? :/

I don't feel threatened too often icon_shrug Although, idt she ever would have been a threat to me in-game? More like she is the only person I would actually fear going up against at FTC though. I would still have happily taken my chances on going to the end together and seeing who could win it though. icon_wub

Its hard when youre so close to staying. All I needed was her vote to stay in the game. I had many long talks with Cat, and one of my biggest fears was being Idol'd out of the game. I told her that's the one way I did not want to go out of this game.
And when her and Brenda decided to save Erinn over me, I actually was in shock. They had become two of my closest allies and Cat had acted as if she would be willing to get rid of Erinn the whole time. Plus, from a strategic POV, I was just so confused that they would put themselves in a minority just to get rid of me.

For the record, Katie. I was not trying to get rid of you. I did not want you to leave the game that round. If I could go back and have us three vote Alina, I would do it. We didn't think Lisi had a HII, we thought she'd leave. I'd like to make that clear.

^ I know you thought that, and thats why you switched the vote up, but I think you guys knew I would be the one to get the votes if an Idol was played, and after Lisi played the idol, there was a re-vote. You could have changed your vote. Just saying :p

I didn't. Paloma would put words in my mouth and most likely run to you with them. She came to me a lot saying she was dying to take you out, and needed numbers, and I was like "OK cool, but we need to go after Cristina first because Erinn would be more likely to vote for her so we can prevent a tie". But she probably didn't tell you that and only told you that I was after you, when I was more after Brenda, someone Paloma was trying to protect.
